The Catenians

Day 2 – St Cuthbert’s Way pilgrimage

Day 2 began with prayers as normal before we continued our pilgrimage along the delightful River Tweed as we watched the local salmon fishermen, passed by a beautiful local golf course and through the gently rolling Scottish countryside.

After a glooomy morning the sun put in an appearance as we meandered along the route where St Cuthbert would have brought the word of God to the local population.

A fabulous day ended as we met up for the journey back to Wooler somewhat later than expected.
