A supportive community of likeminded people who are there for you

Each local branch (or Circle, as we call them) provides a varied social programme for all ages. Regular, relaxed events – think sporting activities, quiz nights, family fun days, charity fundraisers, business networking, and other social events – provide friendship, advice, opportunities, care, a listening ear and, if necessary, financial support.

Helping young people change
the world

Helping young people to help others with support from our own Bursary Fund, career development opportunities, hosted events, and more, we’re committed to helping Catholic youth shape their future and help them help others.

Giving back, together

Christian charity is fundamental to our members, and so charity has always been a fundamental part of the Catenians.  We were founded with a prime focus on the provision of development, training and opportunity for Catholic youth throughout the world.  Today our members continue that support led by our own special-purpose charity the Catenian Bursary Fund.

But our charitable efforts don’t stop there – our Groups, Circle and Provinces also support many other local charitable causes, both Christian and secular, and in the past year throughout the UK alone, they raised over £272,000 for local charities.
