“The Catenian Association is more than just a place to meet new people – it’s a place to form lasting friendships. I’ve met some of my closest friends through this club, and I know they’ll be there for me no matter what.”

“Our Catholic Faith is the ‘glue’ that binds us together. I feel I am a member of two families – my own and the Catenian family. Good friends, great fun and enjoyable company are the chief characteristics of my 24 years as a Catenian.”

Christian charity is fundamental to our members, and so charity has always been a fundamental part of the Catenians. We were founded with a prime focus on the provision of development, training and opportunity for Catholic youth throughout the world. Today our members continue that support led by our own special-purpose charity the Catenian Bursary Fund.
But our charitable efforts don’t stop there – our Groups, Circle and Provinces also support many other local charitable causes, both Christian and secular, and in the past year throughout the UK alone, they raised over £272,000 for local charities.
